A Broken World

We are in touch with this world, because we are in the world (John 17:15). The fashion, crazes, philosophies and norms in this world constantly influence our thoughts. Being aware of the fact that there is constant pressure on both believers and unbelievers to protect their identity is well-known. The mainstream philosophy of today is known as post-modernism, and challenges all fundamental values. Morality is also relativised in every way. The church as institution is also challenged on several grounds, and is regarded with suspicion.

We believe that we live in a time in which man needs to come in touch with God’s heart – more than ever before. Read more about this in “In Voeling met God se Hart” (“In Touch with God’s Heart”).
