We Believe … – Therapéa

That the Bible is the inspired Word of God. 2 Timothy 3:16: “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness …” (Hebrews 4:12).
That God is the Creator of Heaven and Earth, and that nothing that came into being, came into being without originating through Him (Genesis 1:1; John 1:3 and Romans 11:36).
In the complete deterioration of man. Romans 3:12: “… for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23 and Psalm 14).
That Jesus became completely human, that He died on a cross to pay the full price for our sins, and that He rose on the third day. 1 John 4:2: “By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God” (John 1:14; John 19:17 – 19 and John 20:3 – 8).
That Jesus declared his love to sinners by His offer on the cross. Romans 5:8: “… but God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (1 Timothy 1:15; Galatians 1:4 & 2:20 and Ephesians 5:25)
That Jesus ascended to heaven and that He intervenes for us at the Father. We also believe that He is with us and in us as believers at the same time. Galatians 2:20: “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” (Matthew 28:20; John 14:1 – 3 and Romans 8:34).
That Jesus will return to earth at a particular time unknown to all men. He will act as the only judge during judgement day, to determine where each person will spend the remainder of time – in Heaven or Hell. (Acts 1:11; John 14:3 and Matthew 25:31 – 46)
That Jesus is the only way to salvation and that nobody can inherit eternal life by any means other than believing in Him (John 1:18: John 6:65 and John 14:6).
